Trémies N°3 et niches blindées

Hello
Bloc 4 have three niches blindées; one of them is for Trémie N°3 simplifié (on the place to this days) and another two for FM.
Bloc 6 have two niches blindées with Trémie N°3 simplifié (ripped out).
All niches blindées have a main steel plate not from one plate 30 mm, but from two thinner plate 18 + 15 mm.

Yes, thanks for this general feedback on trémies n°3 simplifiées. In fact, I was looking for deployment information tothe "Trémie n°3" page.
I did in fact ask to a well known specialist, who gave me a transcript of a deployment study made years ago, based on the production contract archives (20/07/1938 to Cie des mines, fonderies et forges d'Alais). It seems from these archives that only 6 were ordered. Here is the result :
- Plan Caval B4 (1) and B6 (2), as you mentioned. In fact his statement was to say that the two in B6 were actually not installed (ie. not ripped off either).
- Baisse de St Véran B2 (1, in place)
- La Béole B1 (1, in place. This is the one which triggered the discussion between us.)
One was planned for the ouvrage of Pointe des 3 Communes, which was never built. It may be possible that the one which is lying on the floor at Col du Fort is in fact the trémie planned for Pointe des 3 Communes, reemployed there.

but I found at B 6 Plan Caval the traces after mounting of both trémies. There are concrete filler with parts of bricks (sic!), imprint of the trémie at this concrete and five broken anchor bolts. The concrete filler around trémies was not finished, only the bottom and the walls to certain high. These traces were a very good source for my design of the trémie.

Yes you are right, Michal.
In fact, "not installed" seen from a report perspective doesn't mean that it has not been eventually installed just after and ripped off. This was simply an interpretation.
Interested to have at some stage your drawing of this "n°3 allégée". This could well illustrate the "Trémie n°3" page. I know in which corner in Vincennes the original documents could be, but do not plan to go there soon.
